Got any new ways to help stop barking? My almost 9 year old dog can not get adjusted to a retirement community and barks at tthe slightest anything and he drives ME and others nuts.

My5 month old puppy’s teeth are dropping and new teeth are growing. He loves to bite tables and chairs now. Is this normal? Any suggested extra steps to take?
